New Editions: TRIA and Botticelli Micarta.
TRIA.
The new Ferrari da Varese pen in blazing metacrilate and sterling silver derives its name from the bordeaux logo milled on the clip, which plays with number three: positioned at one third from the top, measuring three millimeters per side, and being three tenth deep, revolves aroung the perfection of a magical number. Besides the silver ring, its fittings are in platinum plated. available in fountain pen and rolling ball versions.
Botticelli Micarta.
The successful Botticelli line adds a new fascinating material: micarta, a compound of phenolic resins in which layers of textile are immersed. Initially used in the space due to its unique chemical-phisycal characteristics, it's now more and more proposed in contemporary accessories for its refined and elegant aspect. Micarta is acid-proof and very resistant to shocks. Extremely hard to work, it requires special tools for the turning process. Botticelli, as usual, blends it with sterling silver, the noble metal used to create the rest of the pen.
