Love Letters in France
For the second year in a row, the French boulevard & people magazine POINT de VUE organized together with Ferrari da Varese the second edition of the nicest Love Letters competition in FRANCE.
Renamed “Les plumes d’Amour” © , the winners of that competition has been selected by a jury made of journalists and famous French novelists (among other Nicole de Buron…) during a working-dinner set on April 26 th at the noble Restaurant LES GRANDES MARCHES, located inside the Paris Opera Bastille.
A total of 30 specialists selected the winning letters from a total of more than 400. The winner will fly to Rom, for a relaxing romantic weekend with the person of her/his choice.
The huge success from the French love letters edition so far is stimulating Ferrari da Varese to organise similar competitions in other European countries too.
An article about fine writing instruments in FRANKFURTER ALLGEMEINE ZEITUNG praised FdV.
The „FAZ“ belongs to the most prominent and reckoned newspaper in Germany. The opinion-leading paper was publishing a long, interesting article about fine, luxury writing instruments in its Sunday edition on March 5 th.
Mentioning brands like Caran d’Ache, Omas or Mont Blanc, the author ends its contribution mentioning… “A few purist tend to prefer to buy their writing devices from independent companies. For instance, the small Italian manufacture Ferrari da Varese, located close to Milan, can be seen as a confidential insider-tipp. The family-own business has pens on offer which are truly set for becoming modern classic icons”. One out of two pictures displayed in that article showed the Botticelli fountain pen with its magnificent natural horn shaft.
FdV’s utmost aim is indeed the production of fine writing devices which are setting new design, timeless standards. We, at Ferrari da Varese, are glad to meet such recognition in such an unbiased and independent newspaper and say thank you for that homage.
